It’s been a bit since we last checked in – and we have some big music news to share! We recently announced our very first NATIONAL concert tour. We’ll be traveling to over 30 cities in the spring including stops in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, DC, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and SXSW…
Also – we’re really excited to be able to share our first Daytrotter session with you all. It’s a live recording of some of our concert favorites: Sailor/Song From The Stone, Bremen, I Crash, and Crow. Huge thanks to the folks at Daytrotter for having us, we couldn’t be happier to be a part of your awesome collection of music.
After the incredibly warm reception to the NYC debut of our show last fall, we knew we were on to something special, but we also felt we weren’t quite done with it yet. So we spent our summer going back and re-examining the script, music, and designs with the support of Stuart Carden and our wonderful new family at Writers Theatre, Jenny Gersten and everyone at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, and of course the original NYC producing team. And now, we are happy to say, it’s HERE! More music! New characters! No intermission! Tell your family! Tell your friends! A brand new version of “The Old Man and The Old Moon” opens in CHICAGO at Writers Theatre!
A quick note – on Sunday morning we are packing up our cars and leaving New York for a few months to take “The Old Man and The Old Moon” to Chicago. A little over a year ago we had just released our first album and had never really played/toured in concert venues. This Friday we’ll be playing The Bowery Ballroom in NYC and it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support we’ve been getting from all of you. We hope you can make it out and bring some friends, it’s going to be a really wonderful night. We’ve been touring all summer and can’t wait to show you some of the new songs we’ve been working on.
